Millennial Pink is all the rage right now, and we’ve noticed big time. We’re truly inspired by this colour and think that it’s the perfect shade to spruce up or mute down to fit any interior.
Its cotton candy style has resonated with a lot of empowering ‘girl boss’ styles and we’re totally loving it. It’s ideal for using in any room of the house; keeping the little girls loving their pretty-in-pink bedroom, whilst using subtly in the living space for a light yet sophisticated look.
The colour is very on trend, yet we don’t think it’s leaving any time soon, as this timeless classic has stood the tests of time, and always come right back round again.
Right now though, designers and fashion brands can’t get enough of the stuff.
We’ve seen this craze build up momentum with it appearing in films such as The Grand Budapest Hotel in 2014, the launch of the Rose Gold iPhone in 2015, and this grapefruit-peachy-salmony pink has popped into the big players like Dulux and Pantone as their colours for the year in 2016 and 17.
The colour oozes with innocence and peace and serenity, which is why it’s becoming a great contender when it comes to choosing soft furnishings for the house. What’s more peaceful than a muted candy floss pink? A fluffy cushion in the same colour.
Also known as ‘Tumblr Pink’ it’s a colour of a generation. And we’re excited for what this generation has to offer in the world of design and interiors.
What are you thinking of Millennial Pink? Will it stay around?
