If you’ve been keeping up with our blogs and Facebook, you’ll know that yesterday we took a trip to Manchester for the annual Summer Furniture Show. Whilst the show was a little quieter than usual, we were pleased to be able to see all the exhibits, guess the next big trends and find a few fancy suppliers to add to our A/W launch (eek!)
On our travels, we noticed that plenty of people are still selling similar collections as our French Grey and Ivory items, so we’re totally still on trend. And – good news – we’re introducing 2 new shades of theses collections, along with new items to add to these popular ranges.
We also took a little inspiration from the beautiful room sets and designs to show you the latest trends we’re loving and hope to give you in our new season launch.
Perfect Palm Leaf
This tropical and exotic print doesn’t seem to be heading anywhere soon, and is popping up and making the path for plenty of colour this upcoming season. Who said Winter had to be bland? This is the perfect print to get your hands on for the garden room, conservatory or some extra cushions for the last of the Summer months.
Everywhere we turned, these stylish Scandi style dining chairs appeared. In every colour, their class and simple design worked perfectly in a huge number of roomsets on the day. We’ve no doubt these will be one of our bestsellers once they’re online, and the family dining scene is going to be totally transformed.
Another trend that isn’t disappearing soon? Dining benches; taking away the conventional ideal of a dinner party and making the whole space a little more communal and intimate.
Long Footstool Ottomans
There’s no fighting for the comfiest spot on the sofa with these beautiful long lounge footstools. Doubling up as a soft coffee table, these striking pieces look to be the perfect way of adding in a hint of colour in to the room.
We’re excited that colours are here to stay, like in this beautifully rich emerald corner sofa. There were a tonne of suppliers offering a whole new range of shades, textures and patterns available for their sofa and chair collections. The new colours include light blues, burnt oranges and greens – mirroring the Summer Colour of the Year Greenery, and transforming into something to suit the new season.
We hope you’re just as excited as us to see that these new trends will be extremely prominent in our Autumn/Winter Launch where we’re hoping to re-invent our brand and offer you a truly stunning range for your home.
What do you think of these trends?
